Thanksgiving day is an official day that is celebrated in the United States of America and in some other states of the world like Canada etc. It is a public holiday celebrated on the last Thursday of the ending week of the November. The day was started by the proclamation of the American president in the early of 20th century. The official treatment and declaration of the day was firstly issued by the “American Colonial Governor Jonathan Belcher”, however this concept of holiday is treated differently in the other regions of the world like Canada. However, there are some controversial arguments found in the history regarding first thanksgiving. For this instance, the different kind of goods and sweet dishes are cooked or made to celebrate the Thanksgiving Day. Some of the historians are suggested that the first thanksgiving day was originally celebrated in the in the late 17th century by the American president George Washington while some other suggested that this day was firstly celebrated officially by the American president.
The Thanksgiving Day also celebrates in the other nations of the world with some changing names or according to their cultures and traditions. In Canada, the thanksgiving day is also being celebrated in the second week of the October on Monday. The Canadian nation uses to celebrate this day to say thanks to the God for the good and profitable Harvest. In Canada, the first thanksgiving was celebrated by an English man “Martin Frobisher”. This day is being celebrated as the traditional event or activity in the different regions of the world. Similarly, the different foods are especially cooked or made to make the day memorable and unforgettable.
In Muslim countries like Saudi Arabia, Iran and Pakistan thanksgiving day is also being celebrated but with some different thoughts and aspects. In Muslim countries, this day is replaced with the Eid day and being celebrated as the religious activity. They make their gatherings and perform their religious activities and then celebrate the day with sweets and some other especially makes dishes. This is a good event which helps to bring the people closer to each. This day is being celebrated throughout the country so helps to reduce or avoid the racial and other ethnic differences among the people of the society. On Thanksgiving Day, people use to contribute the large amount in the charitable institutions and works for the welfare and development of the poor people.

I am going to discuss about a very serious topic that literally can change others life and in return your own life. Yes, ‘Pass a Smile’. Believe it or not, the consequences of this act are enormously great.
The purpose of choosing such a topic is that people are living a great paced life and we are experiencing increase in the mental diseases over the past few years. We have no time left for our social life and hence, depression is increasing day by day in the society.
My message is that when you are walking to your college, office, home etc and you see a strange person coming, just pass a smile. It will cost you nothing but can do wonders in others life. I recently came to know an incident in which a person using the same method passed a smile at a stranger. After some time, he accidently met the same person and the stranger told him that in depression he was going to commit suicide but his smile made him change his mind.
My message is to people of all categories to pass a smile to every stranger you see as everyone is fighting problems in life for their survival.

The process of getting into a relationship in the modern age have become so much quick that at a single moment we are having so much connections with a lot of people and at the other moment we delete the connection from our list and breakup. In this digital era, we rely on technology to build connections and then turning those connections into friendship. When we have to end the relationship with someone, we delete that person from our contact list. Sherry Turkle’s claim is right that we are expecting more from technology and less from each other because everyone is busy in using gadgets and doing social networking that we are not aware of the actual figures of the society. We make ourselves away from each other by just connecting each other through technology. People are having relationships through technology rather than having a real personal connection with that particular person. Meeting of friends is now mostly seen through technology on social media, which is not a good sign for the development of a good society. Relationships made through direct contact and intimacy exists for a long time. It also makes youth familiar with the society and helps to learn social norms and culture of the society.
The five things that I would have my little brother do is having a good attitude, using the online for research only, typing an essay, using a dictionary, and printing an essay paper. As for the five don’t that’s part of the rule is don’t waste time on the computer, don’t play games, don’t go to unnecessary website, don’t leave the computer all the time, and never use it for bad influence. These are the rules I would allow my younger sibling to follow and expect an excellence from what is being used and done whether through the computer or online.
On the day of thanksgiving, I went to the mall to buy new clothes for the upcoming year and so I went to Macy’s and started looking around for a nice T-shirt. I looked and looked and looked, but there was nothing of my interest. So I decided to look around one more time, and then I saw this wolf shirt that just got my attention and I was curious to see how much the shirt cost. And it wasn’t that expensive. So I bought the shirt and try it on and suddenly in a minute I felt like there is a nice cool breeze that was flowing into my body and it felt so relaxing like a massage. Then I started to wear it wherever I go and when weather is hot the shirt keeps my body in a cool position mode as if it is an incredible shirt. I told my friends about it and they were really astonished about the way the shirt looks and how relaxing it felt while I wear it. They asked me where did you get it and I told them from mercy’s and it didn’t cost much because we were in the thanksgiving holiday and so all of them wish they could have the same shirt like I did but unfortunately after thanksgiving those wolf shirt were expensive. And I was glad that I got that wolf shirt at a good price.
One of my favorite Phone in the past. But, today isn’t because everything has changed, and other companies are improving and development every year. In the past Nokia Phones were best phone and a best seller. Everyone remembers Snake Game Nokia, it was a fantastic game at that time, you could play games with just a tap of your thumb. Here some an advantages for Nokia Phones, you could read the screen in the direct sunlight and you could easily pick up the plastic panel you had broken, chipped or cracked. Also “brick phone” throw it down the stairs, drop it no matter, you could just pick it up again and use it again. Now, we live in a word of perpetually broken iPhone screens.
