I did research on Thanksgiving in Africa, and they don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in November as we do in the states. They celebrate Thanksgiving in August, because they like to make sure that the rainy season has come and gone away so that they can partake in the different festivities that they have in the different villages. They take and dress up in all sorts of masks and colorful uniforms and sing and dance all over the village.”( Is There Thanksgiving in Africa?”” African have some of the same foods that we have to eat on thanksgiving like; turkey, dressing, vegetables, fried plantains, and deserts during Thanksgiving. A lot of times they make their Thanksgiving dinners spicy, because they like spicy foods. Overall they make it a big celebration or party because a lot of them are thankful to be alive.
